MVP

[ Mobius Virtual Programs ]

Follow along with 1 hour, live, virtual STEM experiences guided by a Mobius Educator on Zoom. From dissections to experiments, these interactive programs focus on building a strong STEM foundation with engaging science activities and demonstrations. This program is for families looking to ignite their student’s inner scientist through a small group live session.

Nonmembers: $20* 

* Some MVPs require kits, for an additional $5 fee, to accompany the program; while others can be done with supplies found at home.

PLEASE NOTE: A printer may be needed for some MVPs. Also, a few pieces of craft or coloring paper, a pencil, scissors, crayons/colored pencils may be useful to enhance your experience.

Dinosaurs

Dinosaurs roamed the earth for 165 million years. Explore the Triassic, Jurassic, and Cretaceous Periods as we learn about these fascinating reptiles! Your kit will include a dinosaur fact sheet, word search, dino craft, and a dinosaur egg to dig through!

There are over 1,000 species of sharks! Follow along with a Mobius Educator as we perform a shark dissection and learn about these magnificent animals! Your kit will include a shark fact sheet, word search, and a shark egg to open with a shark tooth inside!

Structural Science

What do the Eiffel Tower, a skyscraper, and the Burj Khalifa have in common? They are all towers! Using design, your own creativity, and a little trial and error you’ll build different types of towers while learning the principles of engineering! Your kit will include items for us to build two different structures together!

Coding

Can you talk to robots? Learn how to communicate with robots and create an algorithm for the robot to complete a challenge. This workshop is adaptable for a broad range of ages, with picture-based coding language for younger grades and added levels of difficulty, based on student experience. A coding program link will be sent via email for this MVP!
