Consolidation
News update from 2020 – After much deliberation, Mobius has consolidated its two locations. The children’s museum, formerly located in the lower level of River Park Square, has moved into the space that the science center occupied in the Post Street Annex of the historic Washington Water Power building. Together, the children’s museum and science center have transformed into Mobius Discovery Center.
Mobius Discovery Center has taken advantage of the strongest aspects of the play-based children’s museum and the inquiry-based science center, incorporating them into one discovery center. The space inside the historic building has been revamped to include the most popular exhibits from both the children’s museum and the science center.
